The W8PGW VHF and above contest season is starting up in two weeks.

Here is the VHF and above planned contest schedule for the 2011 VHF season:

June VHF QSO Party                  June 11th and 13th
CQ WW VHF Contest                   July 16th and 1th
August UHF Contest                  August 6th and 7th
September VHF QSO Party             September 11th and 12th
ARRL EME Contest – First weekend    October 22nd and 23rd
ARRL EME Contest – Second weekend   November 19th and 20th

Manchester Canoe Race this Sunday May 22nd 11am

The Manchester Canoe Race is this Sunday Morning in Chelsea at 11am.

 

For those of you who are not going to Dayton for the full weekend or just taking the ARROW bus down for this Saturday, this would be a chance for you to help out the Chelsea club with this event.

CW Practice Software for Mac

As announced on the Monday Night Net a few weeks back…

One of our fellow Hams, and Monday Night Net frequenters, Brian “Moses” Hall (K8TIY) has released his CW practice Software for Mac.

This software, titled CW-Station was written for Mac OS 10.5 and newer and is an ongoing project.
